Aion System Requirements

Before installing Aion, please check to make sure your PC meets the requirements below:

Default Graphics Option (Minimum):

Windows/7/8 32 and 64-bit
Intel Pentium 4 2.8 GHz/ AMD Sempron+ 2800 (with SSE2)
At least 1 GB of RAM
40GB available HDD space
NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GT or ATI Radeon X800 XL series card

Default Graphics Option (Recommended):

Intel Pentium Dual-Core/AMD Athlon64 X2 or higher
At least 2 GB of RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT or ATI Radeon X1800 XL series card

Advanced Graphics Option (Minimum):

Windows/7/8 32 and 64-bit
Intel Pentium Dual-Core or Core 2 Duo 2.5 GHz/AMD Athlon II X2 2.5 GHz
At least 2 GB of RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT or AMD Radeon HD 4670
40 GB available HDD space

Advanced Graphics Option (Recommended):

Intel Pentium Core 2 Duo 2.9 GHz/AMD Athlon II X2 2.9 GHz or higher
At least 4GB of RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT or AMD Radeon 4850 or higher

If your system does not meet the minimum requirements: The game either will not run or will not function properly. In order to play the game without any problems, we suggest that users meet the recommended specifications.


If your system only meets the minimum requirements: Set the graphics options of the game to the lowest levels to maintain smooth game play. Click the Lower Detail check box in the Game Options to set this option.


Please note that Aion requires DirectX 9.0c or above. Windows® 95, 98 and NT are not supported. Install DirectX 9.0c or above and the latest drivers for your video card.


To review your computer information to see if you meet the recommended system requirements for Aion, follow these instructions:


At your Windows Desktop, click on Start and Run.

In the Run box, type dxdiag.

When the DirectX diagnostic tool opens, browse the various tabs to find the information you need.

Alternate method for reviewing your computer’s information:


From your Windows Desktop, right-click on the My Computer icon and select Properties.

On the General tab, you will find descriptions of the computer’s processor, memory, and more.

Click on Hardware,

Click on Device Manager.

Click on Display to view the information about your graphics card.
