Aion Support

Error E03008

This issue is called a ""False Positive"" and is common with anti-virus applications that are not yet updated to reflect the changes in the Aion.bin file. Please whitelist this file in Norton and submit it to Norton for review. They will see that the file isn't malicious in nature, modify their application to not block it and then prevent this from happening. In the meantime, if you just whitelist the file, return it from quarantine and repair using the instructions below, you should be able to get Aion back up and running after these changes by Norton.

I would like you to try an advanced repair of the Aion game client. To do this:

1. Browse to your Aion folder (default: C:\Program Files (x86)\NCsoft\Aion)

2, Locate and delete the folders ""BIN64"" ""DATA"" and ""L10N"" .

3. Double click on the Aion Shortcut on your desktop to launch the NCSOFT Game Launcher.

4. Once the file scan is complete, Aion will automatically start (unless disabled in settings). Close Aion and return to the launcher.

5. Click ""File Repair"" and allow the repair process to complete.

Allow the file check process to complete, and then try the game again. Please let us know if the issue persists.
